Here is a list of recommended layouts:
For townhall level 6:
(1) My personal Favorite : Belive me, it took 4-5 attacks every war to beat this layout. It's just the perfect TH6.
For townhall level 7:
(1) The Mantis : The ultimate best TH7 layout for both farming and clan wars.
(2) Master and Slave : this layout is the worst thing you want during clan war. Not recommended.
For townhall level 8:
(1) The transformer (anti-hog) : The name says it all.
(2) Designs by Tempest: Contains The Tempest layout along with links to Shuriken, Nexus Core, Tesseract and Dominion layouts.
For townhall level 6:
